This story is limited to the evidence below; it does not verify every version of the design.

In Hermès’ account of Guépards, speed and watchfulness share the scene. Some cheetahs run or hunt across the plain, while others shelter their young at the composition’s corners. The house connects the design to Robert Dallet’s animal studies. This gives a documented basis for discussing the contrast between movement and protection without assigning an invented story to individual animals.[3]

Different objects must nevertheless be kept apart. The current H411920S03 product is an 80-centimeter cotton scarf made in Italy. A May 2015 auction catalogue records a 90-centimeter printed silk Guépards signed R. Dallet. Neither record licenses describing every Guépards as silk, cotton, or a single size.[3][2]

The artist website reports a 2007 first collection appearance and separately dates a double-face version to 2024. Its caption for an 80-centimeter 2026 example calls it silk, unlike the specific cotton product documented by Hermès. Without a shared product reference, these cannot safely be reconciled as the same object. The design chronology is retained as an artist-site report, while current product specifications remain explicitly scoped.[1][3]
