1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using MyQuotaBag, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of the Service

MyQuotaBag is a personal tracking and organizational app that may allow users to:

  • Log purchases
  • Track boutique visits
  • Save wishlist preferences
  • View personal tracking metrics, ratios, and app-generated insights
  • Scan receipts to pre-fill purchase entries using on-device text recognition
  • Sign in with Apple or Google to sync data across devices
  • Continue as a guest without creating an account

The app is provided for informational and personal organizational use only.

3. No Affiliation

MyQuotaBag is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Hermès International or any of its affiliates.

References to Hermès names, products, boutiques, or categories are used solely for descriptive and personal tracking purposes.

4. No Guarantee and Informational Use Only

MyQuotaBag does not guarantee:

  • Any product offer
  • Any commercial outcome
  • Any boutique decision
  • Any product allocation
  • Any wait time
  • Any relationship outcome with a brand or store

Any ratio, estimate, category weighting, projection, timeline, or insight provided by the app is an informational tool only.

These outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or based on assumptions, user-entered data, or community observations. You remain solely responsible for how you interpret and use the information.

MyQuotaBag does not provide legal, tax, customs, financial, or investment advice.

5. Receipt Scanning

MyQuotaBag includes an optional receipt scanning feature that uses on-device text recognition to extract purchase information from photos or images of receipts.

By using the receipt scanning feature, you agree that:

  • You will only scan receipts that belong to you
  • Receipt images are processed entirely on your device and are not transmitted to our servers or any third party
  • Text recognition results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or require manual correction
  • MyQuotaBag is not responsible for errors, omissions, or misclassifications resulting from receipt quality, lighting conditions, formatting, or unsupported receipt types
  • It is your responsibility to review and confirm all scan results before saving

6. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use MyQuotaBag.

By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.

7. User Data and Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of information you enter
  • Maintaining the security of your device and credentials
  • Managing your sign-in credentials and account access
  • Understanding that guest mode data is stored locally and may be lost if the app is deleted
  • Ensuring that content you upload or scan is lawful and that you have the right to use it

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload or scan content you do not have the right to use
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the app or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit the app except where permitted by law
  • Scrape, automate, extract, or reproduce app content or data without authorization
  • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
  • Use the app in a way that infringes any third-party rights

9. Intellectual Property

MyQuotaBag and its original content, branding, software, design, graphics, and related materials are owned by MyQuotaBag or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

"Hermès" and related trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Any such references in the app are used solely for descriptive purposes.

10. Third-Party Services

Some features may rely on third-party providers such as hosting, authentication (including Apple and Google sign-in services), analytics, crash reporting, or storage services.

We are not responsible for outages, interruptions, delays, or failures caused by third-party services.

11. Availability and Changes

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the app at any time, with or without notice.

Features including cloud sync, export tools, account access, authentication methods, receipt scanning, or premium functionality may be added, modified, limited, or removed over time.

We are not liable for any loss resulting from feature changes, service interruptions, or discontinuation.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF:

  • MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • ACCURACY
  • RELIABILITY
  • AVAILABILITY
  • SECURITY
  • ERROR-FREE PERFORMANCE

We do not warrant that:

  • The app will always be available
  • The app will be error-free
  • Ratios or calculations will be accurate
  • Sync features will always function without interruption
  • Receipt scanning results will be accurate or complete
  • Uploaded content will never be lost, delayed, corrupted, or misclassified

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYQUOTABAG AND ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND REPRESENTATIVES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES RELATING TO:

  • PURCHASING DECISIONS
  • MISSED OPPORTUNITIES
  • LOST DATA
  • SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS
  • DEVICE ISSUES
  • INCORRECT CALCULATIONS OR CLASSIFICATIONS
  • RECEIPT SCANNING ERRORS OR MISCLASSIFICATIONS
  • RELIANCE ON APP OUTPUTS OR COMMUNITY OBSERVATIONS

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

  • THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM
  • THE MINIMUM AMOUNT REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyQuotaBag and its affiliates, service providers, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the app
  • Your uploaded or scanned content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another person or entity

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • We suspect misuse, abuse, or unlawful conduct
  • Continued operation of the service becomes impractical or impossible

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting the app and, where available, deleting your account or stored data.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional policies or notices made available within the app, form the entire agreement between you and MyQuotaBag regarding the app.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
